When to Wear Sunglasses
Rachel Zoe has the right idea – sunglasses should be worn anytime you’re outside, no matter the season. “We still get a lot of UVA/UVB radiation in the winter and in fact sometimes it can be worse [then],” Williams says. “If you live in an area where there’s snow or ice, you can get radiation off the snow and ice as well.” Even if you don’t have to worry about snowy winters, it’s important to protect your eyes year-round. Williams tells us she won’t leave the house without a pair of sunglasses. “I carry a pair of sunglasses everywhere I go, so as soon as I walk outside I switch into them,” Williams says. “I make it such a habit that I don’t even have to think about it.”

  1. I’ve been wearing sunglasses year-round for most of my life. It’s not vanity, I have an eye condition- sunglasses make it very bearable for me to go outside. If I don’t wear them, I get migraines from hell.
