Road Test: Knomo Ravello Tote
Carry your laptop or netbook in style with Knomo.
When you walk out the door, you can be carrying so many things that it looks like you’re going on a month-long trek into the wild, not going to work. How can you look chic and put together, but still be able to carry your stuff? Look for bags that have lots of compartments and great style!
I’ve been road testing the Knomo Ravello tote ($169, knomobags.com) for a while. If the name Knomo sounds familiar to you, it’s because Pippa Middleton has Knomo laptop bags and is rarely seen without hers. My bag survived New York Fashion Week looking batter than I did. It’s gone to editorial meetings, press presentations and has never let me down. In fact, after using it for a couple of months, it still looks brand new!
The Knomo Ravello tote can fit my laptop, makeup, mouse (okay, I’ve yet to conquer being mouseless), laptop cord, books and more. No matter what I stuff in it, it doesn’t look overloaded. The interior has a padded sleeve made especially for the laptop. I can use the outside pocket for keys or a Metrocard. The Ravello also comes with a long strap: you can convert it to a shoulder or crossbody bag in seconds.
The bag comes in quilted felt or nylon faux hair calf or studded (black only). Pick berry, black, gray or purple. Each bag has Napa leather trim. The oddest thing that’s happened to me when I’ve carried the bag as either a crossbody or a bag is people coming up to pet the bag. I’m serious; people have walked across a room to pet my bag. It’s that cute.
