Dare to Bare

Ah, winter! Time of hot chocolate, ice skating, snowpeople… and dry, itchy skin. There’s no doubt about it: Winter skin sucks. But you know what will help it suck less? The Socializer’s Dare to Bare Arm Care Smoothing Exfoliator from Elizabeth Grant! ($26, elizabethgrant.com)

Elizabeth Grant’s products are well known for their skin-improving properties, and Dare to Bare definitely delivers on that promise. I road tested this fantastic scrub all this week, and I’ve been super happy with the results. Just hop in the shower, squeeze on some exfoliator, and use the included buffer to scrub your way to glowing skin.

Not only did it clear away my dry skin and smooth out my elbows, but also, it helped out with those annoying red bumps that can rear their ugly heads at the most inopportune of times. Even better, although Dare to Bare says that it’s meant for arms, I found that it’s also quite handy for smoothing out legs and toes. It’s gentle enough for everyday use, too, so you don’t have to worry about it irritating anything either.

I’ve only been using Dare to Bare for a short time, but I’m already seeing an improvement in the texture of my skin—it’s so much softer. I am plagued by itchy winter skin no more! So why not give it a shot? Your arms—and everything else—will thank you for it!
