Sarah Michelle Gellar’s 2-Year-Old Daughter Dressed Her For the Golden Globes
Joining the ranks of celebrity kids who act as their parents’ stylist is Sarah Michelle Gellar’s and Freddie Prinze Jr.’s daughter Charlotte.
This is either incredibly cute or a really, really bad idea, and I’m not entirely sure which: In a brief red carpet interview with People on Sunday, Ringer star Sarah Michelle Gellar revealed that her 2-year-old daughter Charlotte picked out her outfit for the Golden Globes.
“It’s funny—I didn’t try on that many dresses,” the actress said. “My 2-year-old walked in, walked up to this dress and said, ‘Mama, wear this!’ So I put it on and said, ‘OK!’” It wasn’t just the dress that little Charlotte chose, either; Sarah Michelle added, “She really went for it. She chose the bag and shoes. I let her pick all of it.”
The dress, by the way, was Monique Lhuillier (we spotted it at the ML show during Fashion Week back in September), the shoes Jimmy Choo, and the jewelry Bulgari. Little Charlotte’s got expensive taste! To be fair, it’s a neat dress—the draping is gorgeous and the tie-dye look is unique—though at the same time, it’s also kind of a little TOO much dress on such a tiny lady. But hey, Monique Lhuillier is Monique Lhuillier, right?
Tell us: What do you think of the look Charlotte picked out for her mom?
