The Bachelorette: Cloudy With a Chance of Crazy!
We cover the kisses, the songs and even a tattoo from last night’s episode of The Bachelorette.
I didn’t think there was much that could top Jonathan’s cringe-worthy kiss with Ali last week on The Bachelorette. Boy was I wrong.
Last night, we learned a whole lot more about Kasey, mainly that the 27-year-old with the indiscernible accent (and he’s from California!), is just plain off his rocker.
Ali kicked off her whirlwind, worldwide search for love in New York City. Kasey got the first one-on-one date with Ali, but not before she got a makeover for the July issue of InStyle magazine. I guess two stints on a reality series make you a star worthy of the magazine’s pages. Sorry, Cameron!
But back to Kasey’s date. Ali took him on a modified Night at the Museum adventure with a romantic interlude inside the Museum of Natural History. I almost wished the dinosaur had come to life to distract Kasey from the worst date ever. With the singing and stories, he was awkward and uncomfortable, which is exactly how I felt watching it. I sort of wish I’d started a Kasey drinking game and taken a shot every time he said, “I want to guard and protect her heart.” I would have been dead drunk by the end of the episode, but it would have put me out of my viewing misery.
Ali totally felt what I was feeling and didn’t give Kasey a rose that night. But she didn’t send him home either, and advised him to just be himself. For a brief moment, I thought that Kasey realized he should drop the fake caring act and be genuine. He could learn a thing or two from Chris L., who spent most of his one-on-one date — which fell on his birthday — caring for Ali while she was sick in bed.
