Danny Pudi

Danny Pudi

As the one half of Community’s hottest couple, Danny Pudi hams it up as Abed, the show’s resident ultra-nerd. When Abed and his BFF Troy aren’t writing Spanish raps, you can find him perfecting his Don Draper impression. Watch as Abed practices his flirting tactics on gal-pal Annie (Allison Brie) – who, incidentally, moonlights as Pete Campbell’s wife on Mad Men. This is the kind of meta moment Abed would love.

Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield

Andrew Garfield has had a big year. He starred in The Social Network as Mark Zuckerberg’s pal-turned-enemy Eduardo Saverin, a role which earned him a Golden Globe nomination. Garfield has also snagged a British Independent Film Award nomination for his role alongside Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan in Never Let Me Go. To top it all off, he’s won the title role in the upcoming installment of the Spiderman franchise. Not bad for a newcomer!

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

OK, we know Joseph Gordon-Levitt has been around for a long time, but we think this was a year of major transition for the actor. He’s worked pretty consistently since his days on TV’s 3rd Rock From the Sun, but 2010 made him a bona fide movie star. Earlier this year, he was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in 2009’s 500 Days of Summer. And then there was a little film called Inception – you may have heard of it? Gordon-Levitt shone as the dapper hero Arthur, proving that he knows how to wear a suit well and fight like a pro. Could he be the next James Bond?
