Lisa Ling and Euna LeeLaura Ling and Euna Lee, the two American journalists who were detained in a North Korean work camp for the past four and a half months, are finally coming home.

The pair traveled back to the U.S. last night with former president Bill Clinton after being officially pardoned by North Korea leader Kim Jong Il. Clinton met with top government officials in Pyongyang and apologized for the so-called “hostile acts” the two women were charged with.

In Los Angeles, Ling and Lee’s families were overjoyed at the news of the two women’s return. A statement on the lauraandeuna.com website read:
“Our girls are coming home . . . we are counting the seconds to hold Laura and Euna in our arms.” (CNN)
