‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ Character Posters: Hot or Not?
Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner’s character posters for ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ have just been released? Hot? Or just kind of awkward?
Character-specific poster campaigns seem to be all the rage for major film franchises these days, so naturally, it comes as no surprise that Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 has hopped on the bandwagon. Although we got a sneak peek of Kristen Stewart as Vampire Bella a few months ago, those images were admittedly of questionable quality; but hey, now we’ve got the chance to see her in all her high res vampy glory! Besides Bella up top there, we’ve also got Robert Pattinson as Edward:
And Taylor Lautner as Jacob:
As the Hollywood Reporter points out, the focus of these posters mostly seems to be on the characters’ eyes; Edward’s are that wacky topaz color they tend to be when he’s full, while Bella’s have turned a charming shade of red (someone’s hungry!). Bella has apparently also embraced her inner bad girl, as she’s suited herself up in a fancy-schmancy leather jacket.
As for Jacob? Well, at least he’s wearing a shirt for once, right?
One of our faithful readers (you know who you are!) commented on our Facebook page when we posted the earlier images of Vampire Bella that “she still looks constipated.” You have NO IDEA how much we laughed when we read that. Seriously. We were ROLLING. But bearing that in mind, we’d like to pose this question to you, Bettys: Now that she’s been all Photoshopped up, does Bella STILL look constipated? Or was it just an unfortunate side effect of the really terrible quality of the previous images?
Anyway, Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is due out in cinemas on November 16. However, rumor has it that Robert Pattinson is up for the role of Finnick Odair in Catching Fire—sorry, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, as it is henceforth to be known in its official capacity—so all you Twihards out there might just get the chance to see some crazy franchise crossover action in the near future.
