Uh Oh! Lindsay Lohan Missed Her Flight Back from Hawaii!
Oh noes! Lindsay Lohan missed her flight back from Hawaii! Will she make her probation hearing in time?
She may have recovered her purse in time, but uh oh—Lindsay Lohan missed her flight back from Hawaii on Tuesday night anyway! What about Ellen? What about her PROBATION HEARING? Aaaaah! Tragedy!
Oh, phew—never mind, she made it back in time. As you may know, LiLo spent some time in Hawaii this weekend to get away from the public eye for a bit. She managed to lose a $5,000 purse while she was there, which happened to hold all her IDs among other things, so for a minute there, it looked like she might have trouble getting back (you don’t need a passport to get from Hawaii to the mainland, but you do need at least one form of government-issued ID to fly). But if she found her purse in time, then what was the big hold-up?
Lindsay spokesman, Steve Honig, released this brief and somewhat vague statement for her to CNN last night: “Lindsay was delayed in Hawaii due to a travel-related issue. She will be heading back this evening in time to appear in court tomorrow. Whether she missed it because of a screw-up on the airline’s part or because she was just late remains to be seen; frankly, given the state of a) the airlines and b) Lindsay Lohan, either possibility is equally likely.
In any event, she was unfortunately forced to cancel her appearance on Ellen, where she was planning on unveiling her entire Playboy spread. Since the spread has already leaked, it’s probably just as well; at least she’s canceling the television appearance in favor of making the court appearance. Surprisingly, it’s expected that Lindsay will earn a glowing probation report. We already know that she’s ahead of schedule on her community service hours, and according to Radar Online, a source has revealed that LiLo is really “stepping up and accepting responsibility for her actions.” The source said:
“Judge Sautner gave Lindsay a new probation officer at her last court appearance. Her new probation officer is absolutely no nonsense, and she has seen it all. Lindsay has been a model probationer so far. Lindsay calls her probation officer back immediately whenever she calls her, if she doesn’t answer the phone.”
LiLo is also apparently well-liked at the coroner’s office and does whatever she’s assigned without complaint. The source noted, “For the first time in a very long time in Lindsay life, she is treated just like everyone else, which is exactly what she needs. She isn’t given any special perks, nor has she asked for any.”
In light of what we said when Lindsay got out of her 30-day jail sentence after just four and a half hours: THANK YOU.
Anyhoo, the probation hearing will happen later today, so we should know the outcome of it soon.
