Warm Up with M. Patmos’ Textured Bold Pieces: MB Fashion Week 2012
Relaxed, feminine wear and sustainable accessories defines the new M. Patmos collection!
Inspired by the Native American woman, the vibrant line includes structured, almost geometric shapes accented by bright, bold pinks, reds and oranges. There were also neutral looks that managed to carry the same pop. For the shoes, M. Patmos collaborated with Manolo Blahnik for eco-footwear using vegetable tanned leather. The designer also paired with Ten Thousand Things for one of a kind, sustainable jewelry. And boy, the jewelry was just gorgeous. Each piece added to the primitive tone of the collection.
Not only are the garments functional but they also blend soft and textured fabrics with expert craftsmanship. The red and black leather jacket was one of my favorites. Everything looked so comfortable!
According to M. Patmos, the line was designed to be “slow fashion” that could be loved and worn for years to come. I have no doubt that it will be!
