Warriors in Pink Fight Breast Cancer 365 Days a Year!
You don’t have to wait until October to get involved in the battle against breast cancer.
It seems that every October, we suddenly pay attention to the war against breast cancer. We buy pink products that have monies earmarked for BCA programs. We do the walks and we (finally) (hopefully) remember to give ourselves a breast exam. However, the research, the fight, the patients and the survivors go on all year long. Back in 1995, Ford became a national sponsor for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Through the years, Ford has become more involved and they’ve raised more than $110 million for the cause with their Ford Cares Warriors in Pink initiative.
With their Warriors in Pink program they’re raising money every single day. 100 percent of the net proceeds of each item goes directly to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. You can pick up items for little ones, men and yourself. Here are just a few goodies on the site:
The adorable models on the site are breast cancer survivors and members of families touched by this disease.
We recently attended a Warriers in Pink event and got to chat with Crystal Worthem of Ford Cares:
