We love it when good-looking guys don’t take themselves too seriously. Obviously, Rob has a thing for comedy since he’s joining the Parks and Rec crew (and made this hilarious expletive-filled Funny or Die spoof for it), but we knew he had a great sense of humor ever since we saw him as the young Number Two in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me.
4. He’s a family man.
Rob married makeup artist Sheryl Berkoff in July 1991. The happy couple lives in an estate near Santa Barbara with their two teenage sons, Edward Matthew, 17, and John Owen, 14. Rob told Architectural Digest of their house, “‘Family home’ is a trite phrase, but that’s exactly what we have. Nothing makes me happier than the life that goes on within these walls, the history that’s being created here every minute, every day.”
5. And of course, he’s still gorgeous.
Those chiseled cheekbones, those blue eyes – the former model looks like he hasn’t aged a day since his Brat Pack years. Even Alec Baldwin told the audience when accepting his Emmy for best actor in a comedy series in 2009, “I’d trade this to look like him.” Yes, Rob Lowe’s still got it!
