Will Marc Jacobs Do A Plus Size Line?
Rumor has it the company is in talks to create one.
According to Fashionista, they’ve been following the tweets of Robert Duffy, Jacobs’ business partner. If you twitter, take a look at his feed – MarcJacobsInt. On August 3rd, Duffy tweeted, “Listen, we are in the very beginning stages of talking to a partner about plus sizes. Relax. It won’t be based on the collection line.”
If Jacobs does decide to do a plus size line, it’ll have a home at Saks Fifth Avenue. The store is now stocking up on luxury label plus sizes from Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Toula, Akris, Armani, Carolina Herrera and more in sizes 16 to 20.
While nothing has been set in stone yet, you can read all the tweets from Duffy about the possibility of a plus size Marc Jacobs line at Fashionista.
