Worst Dressed at the Grammys
From Katy Perry to Miley Cyrus — at least these stars had confidence when they walked down Grammys red carpet!
There are award shows when everyone is dressed beautifully and trying to find a fashion faux pas is really hard. Then there’s the Grammys. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel. One mind-boggling outfit comes trotting down the red carpet after another.
Here’s our pick for the worst dressed last night.
It’s Attack of the Swans! Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine (like Rihanna) opted for a runway look. She wore a couture gown from Givenchy’s spring collection. Sometimes a runway look should stay on the runway. Otherwise, it might scare small children.
When Glee’s Amber Riley stopped to talk to E!’s Ryan Seacrest, she started to laugh about her dress and acknowledged that the painted creation was going to end up on worst dressed lists everywhere. To complement the ill-fitting cocktail sheath, Amber wore a choker that had one armored shoulder pad. It looked straight out of a Mad Max movie. She hid it behind her hair when not on camera. Good move.
Ciara has a banging body and normally a great red carpet presence. While we loved her platinum drop earrings by Lorraine Schwartz and diamond bangles by Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira, her Gucci getup makes her look like she just left the set of Xena: Warrior Princess. The slit on the dress was so high; people were taking bets on the color of her panties.
Singer Crystal Bowersox created a new fashion trend. It’s called Dread With The Wind.
Nicki Minaj and Eva Longoria up next!
