Would You Buy Lingerie from Penelope Cruz?
Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica are creating a new line of lingerie for Agent Provocateur.
Agent Provocateur’s an English brand of lingerie. Created by Joe Corre, the son of Vivienne Westwood, the line doesn’t flirt with, but rather embraces the wild and oh-so-naughty side that many women possess. The line which contains must-haves such as paddles, whips, eye masks, gloves, and pasties (yes, I am being sarcastic) aside from their usual offerings of garter belts, lingerie and frothy nightwear. Whilst many of their underpinnings are quite lovely and lust-inducing, they’re also pricey. Bras can go as high as $300; slips can go for $490 and so on.
Now the brand is creating a lower-priced line for the rest of us. Prices shouldn’t go higher than $64 for anything from L’Agent. Penelope Cruz and her sister Monica are collaborating with L’Agent’s design team to create lingerie for the new firm and be their face of the brand,
Monica, a professional dancer, has modeled for the line before. Take a look at this short movie she did for Agent Provocateur. Triva note: The coachman is played by Iggy Pop.
This isn’t the first time Penelope and Monica Cruz have worked for a clothing company. Back in 2007, the duo did a capsule clothing collection for Mango. They also worked with handbag line Samantha Thavasa creating a limited edition line for that company as well.
L’Agent hits stores in August 2013. Plenty of time for you to pile up a chunk of change… that is, if you want to snag the entire line.
