bettyTalk Help

Welcome to bettyTalk. bettyTalk is BettyConfidential's community where we discuss topics of interest to women in today's world.

Below are a few notes that we hope will be helpful as you explore and participate in bettyTalk. If you have any questions that aren't answered here, just send us a quick email (service@BettyConfidential.com), and we'll get right back to you. Thank you!

What is this icon: bettyTalk about it?

The "bettyTalk about it" icon can be found throughout BettyConfidential.com. It links you directly to a bettyTalk discussion about the article or topic that you're currently viewing.

How do I get to bettyTalk?

Jumping to bettyTalk is easy. You just click on "bettyTalk" in the menu bar. You can also jump to bettyTalk by clicking on any of the "bettyTalk about it" icons throughout the site.

Do I have to join to read bettyTalk?

Not at all. You can read all of the discussions without joining. However, when you're ready to contribute to a discussion, you'll need to register (sign-up).

How do I register (sign-up)?

It's easy. Just click on the "join now!" button at the top of the page. You can also visit bettyTalk and click on the "Register" link right next to the "Help" link.

What are rooms?

We think of bettyTalk as being a home with many rooms. People in each room talk about different things. For instance, the folks in the "kissing frogs" room talk about dating and relationships, and the folks in the "navigating a career" room talk about jobs and careers. It's just a way to organize our discussions. Feel free to move from room-to-room and participate in as many discussions as you like.

Can I start my own discussion?

Absolutely! To start your own discussion, simply login (you will need to have registered first), go to the room that interests you, and press the "NEWTOPIC" button. Your discussion will be added to the list of discussions in that room.

Is my identity protected?

Yes. We have a very strong privacy policy, and we will not release your identity to any other members. Feel free to create a pseudonym, or a fun alias, when you register.
