Drew Barrymore’s rumored cosmetics line is becoming a reality: Flower hits Walmart in January 2013!
Remember at the end of October when rumors start circulating that Drew Barrymore had her own cosmetics line in the works? Well, this is one case where the rumors turned out to be true: According to WWD, Drew’s brand new cosmetics brand, Flower, will be hitting Walmart in January!
Don’t usually get your beauty goodies at Walmart? With Flower, you just might start. The idea behind flower is “true luxury at mass”—that is, the formulas are custom-made at the same price as those used in luxury beauty brands. The result? Cosmetics that are on par with department store makeup lines, but with an approachability geared towards your average, everyday beauty nut. We dig it! Here’s a peek at some of the treats we’ve got to look forward to:
Retail prices will run from $4.98 to $13.98, and the line will be chock full of treats for your face, eyes, lips, and nails. Highlights include Ultimate Mascara, Powder Up loose powder, and a BB cream that tackles everything from blemishes to pores. Even the packaging is pretty—encased in white and rose gold, the line looks bright, clean, and happy, just like Drew herself. Fitting, no?
