First Look: Katie Holmes Rocks a Smoky Eye in Her New Bobbi Brown Campaign
The first image is out of Katie Holmes’ new Bobbi Brown makeup campaign! What do you think of her smoky eye?
We learned back in September that Katie Holmes had signed on to be the very first celebrity face of cosmetics company Bobbi Brown—and now we’re getting our first look at the campaign. What do you think, Bettys?
In the first of two images, Katie rocks a smoky eye created with Bobbi Brown’s new Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks. The shadow sticks, which retail for $28, will be available in February when the campaign officially debuts. Loose waves, pink lips, and a dramatic statement necklace complete the look.
Given that Katie and Bobbi teamed up because of Katie’s fresh-faced, “girl-next door” appeal, it’s sort of surprising that the first look from the campaign is a little more on the dramatic side; that said, though, you can get a peek at a second, more natural shot of Katie and learn how to get the look she wears there at the cosmetic company’s website.
Katie told the Huffington Post, “I’ve always been a fan of [Bobbi’s] makeup, because it’s so easy to apply. Her color palettes aren’t extreme, so when I first started wearing makeup it felt comfortable and I didn’t feel like I had too much on, which can happen.”
