Every spring, H&M debuts a special fashion collection: Fashion Against Aids (FAA). 25 percent of the monies raised from the sales of items will go to Designers Against Aids (DAA) and other HIV/AIDS non-profit organizations.

This year’s collection has a twist. “We wanted to create a unisex collection with a sporty vibe. It felt really liberating to think of the cut, the shape and the fabric first before thinking of what gender it should be for. Key pieces are the slogan T-shirts as well as the sports style jacket with zip details, which can be worn in all sorts of ways. FAA is vital because it is still so crucial to make young people aware of HIV and AIDS,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Head of Design at H&M.

The collection consists of  separates and accessories like totes and backpacks.  Prices range from $4.95 for a  soft cloth backpack to $149.95 for a leather vest.

The collection hits H&M stores worldwide on April 26, 2011.
