Study says coffee may prevent breast cancer
By: Julie Ryan Evans
Way too often the morning news makes me feel guilty about some aspect of my life-I’m using plastic, not recycling enough, scarring my child with inadequate parenting psychology, not exercising enough, not saving enough money for retirement, stressing too much (I wonder why!).
Not today. A recent study out of Sweden says that coffee could help some women stave off breast cancer. Tears of joy and relief flowed into my latte. I’ve been absolved; and at least one of my vices is now virtuous! In fact, the study went on to say that two or THREE cups a day could reduce a woman’s risk of breast cancer by a third or “delay onset by 10 years.”
While they did say the study needed to be corroborated further, I’m not taking any chances. Let the Joe Flow!
