You love your boyfriend, but is it possible to love him even more? Of course!
With the New Year approaching, it’s time to buckle down and think about how you can not only make changes to your life, but also to your relationship. Consider some of these New Year’s resolutions to add to your list.
Do One Thing a Day to Make Him Smile
After you’ve been in a relationship for years, many people fall into a routine. They don’t ever do anything new in the relationship, and just grow comfortable with the way their relationship has become. This can end up making one or both people bored with love.
Bring the excitement back into your love life by making a point to do one thing each day that will make your boyfriend smile. It could be as simple as sticking a note into his bag that he’ll find later on in the day that says how much you adore him. Or, you could send him lunch at work to show him you are thinking about how hard he’s working—and now he has lunch ready for him to eat while he works. Think about one thing every day that you haven’t done before that will show him you care, and do it.
Notice How Much He Loves You
Many people don’t pay attention to the small hugs, pecks on the cheek, or loving whispers, but they are just as meaningful as huge gestures.
Make a change in your life by noticing those small gestures that mean so much. When your boyfriend looks into your eyes and says he loves you, stop just for a moment to savor it. When he puts his hand on the small of your back to lead you through a door, feel that hand on your back and feel the comfort that goes along with it. When he smiles at you while you’re doing something, memorize that look and remember it every time you’re down in the dumps.
