Mean Betty: Why Did Emma Watson Dye Her Puppy Pink?!
Oh Emma Watson, what did that poor puppy ever do to you?
Pity poor little Darcy, Emma Watson’s one-year-old Bichon Frise. Little Darcy’s gone from soft white to bubblegum pink! Can you imagine what’s going to happen to her when she places her teeny paws in the local dog park? Woofs and arfs of derisive laughter will greet that poor pooch the moment she’s sighted in there!
Why, just the thought of it had Meanie’s head twirling so badly, that she had the butler immediately and not one second later quickly mix up a healthy alcohol-tinged “health tonic!” Truly, Meanie’s just fanning herself with sympathetic embarrassment for poor Darcy.
Reportedly, Emma paid £90 pounds, that’s $140.17 in U.S. dollars to have Darcy dipped in beetroot. Beetroot! She had the treatment done at London’s Groom Dog City. Apparently, this isn’t the first time Emma’s gotten dye-happy with Darcy. Groom Dog City owner, Stuart Simons told the Daily Mail, “Emma has dyed Darcy twice. Pink is our biggest colour, but I do look after another bichon (sic) called Casper who comes in for a blue Mohican (sic).”
How does Meanie know that Darcy was dipped in beetroot? Simon also revealed his secrets, “All the dyes I use are completely animal-friendly. They are made from vegetable dye.”
The only thing nice that Meanie can say about the photo of Emma and Darcy is that Emma’s wearing a cute dog-themed scarf.
That makes Meanie wonder about playing with veggies. Could she dye her dog or cat using, oh say, green beans, squash or perhaps a Casaba melon? Meanie’s never tried a Casaba melon, so this might be a good excuse to have the butler pick one up the next time he’s at the market.
You’ll never guess what other starlet dip-dyed her dog hot pink!
