Who says that style and technology don’t mix? Project Runway champ Mondo Guerra has been a trailblazer in the world of design since he won the eighth season of “The Project Runway HP/Intel Challenge”—and now he’s back with HP and better than ever!
Right now, Mondo is hosting the HP Ultrabook Bag Contest, a contest which asked aspiring designers to design a laptop bag specifically for HP’s shiny new Ultrabook laptop. Sleek, slim, and lightweight, the Ultrabook is perfect for all you artists out there: Whether you’re into music, graphic design, video, or anything else you can imagine, the Ultrabook can get you to where you want to be! The entries are all in now, and Mondo (who designed the three bags seen here—snazzy, no?), Core77.com executive editor LinYee Yuan, and Inhabitat’s founder and editor-in-chief, Jill Fehrenbacher, have narrowed down the list to 40 semi-finalists—but they need your help to pick the winner!
Head on over to the contest’s website to check out all 40 of the super stylish semi-finalist designs and cast your vote for your top choice. In a world as digital as ours is, technology and style are no longer mutually exclusive; whether you’re reading up about Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on the web or clicking away on your smartphone with apps like Kate’s Style List, fashion is just as plugged in as we are. So why not use all that fabulous tech to help an up-and-coming designer get the breakthrough they deserve? You never know who might be the next big thing! VOTE HERE!
