Tony Parker and Eva Longoria

When reports first surfaced that Eva Longoria and Tony Parker were splitting up, sources said it was because Parker had been sexting with his teammate’s wife – a bad move for any hubby. But, apparently Eva hasn’t been such an angel herself and is partly to blame for their failed marriage.

Sources are telling Popeater’s Rob Schuter that Eva lost motivation to visit her hubby in Texas after the first year of their marriage. Supposedly, she got too wrapped up in the Hollywood scene in LA, and didn’t want to leave.

“All Eva wanted to do was be with Tony and build a life together,” says a friend, “but things started to change as she got more and more sucked into the glamorous Hollywood lifestyle.”

Another friend shares, “Tony understands how important Eva’s career is to her and never wanted her to leave Los Angeles and settle with him in Texas. But then she would tell him that important meetings came up in Hollywood – which meant she had to stay in LA – and then he would see pictures of her and her friends out at restaurants and clubs. That’s when he knew he couldn’t compete.”

Is that why Tony has also filed for divorce in Texas? Maybe he’s citing “absent wife” as the reason! (Popeater)

Tell us: Do you think Eva is partially to blame for the divorce, or is this just Tony’s friends sticking up for him?

  1. There is probably fault on both sides. The nature of their jobs and lifestyles would make it hard for any couple. I was disappointed to hear that they were splitting, but I can understand it. It’s kind of a shame that they didn’t try harder to work things out, though.
