Plum-Glazed Chicken

Velveeta Shells and Cheese is a very versatile, smooth and creamy side dish that goes well with everything, including this glazed chicken recipe. Make this tonight with a side of Velveeta Shells and Cheese for a delicious dinner.

Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients:

1/3 cup cherry preserves

2 tablespoons Chinese plum sauce

2 teaspoons soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon Chinese five spice seasoning

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Preparation:

1. Combine preserves, plum sauce, soy sauce and Chinese five spice seasoning in a small bowl.

2. Heat a nonstick skillet until hot. Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper. Add chicken to skillet; sauté 5 minutes on each side. Spoon sauce over chicken and cook 5 minutes longer.

Per serving: 230 calories, 7g fat, 65mg chol., 20g prot., 21g carbs., 0g fiber, 480mg sodium
