An unexpected rain shower couldn’t keep celebs like Jon Hamm away from the Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards held at sizzling LA nightclub, The Conga Room! Needless to say, it didn’t keep us away either. (SWOON!)

Hosted by Hamilton Watches in conjunction with Los Angeles Confidential Magazine, the 5th annual awards ceremony was a salute to the men and women behind the camera, with honorees coming from both the big screen and TV screen alike. Presenters included A-listers Robert Pattinson, Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas, and the aforementioned Mr. Hamm, all honoring winners they had recently worked with.

We were swooning before anyone even hit the carpet! First up was host of the evening, Isaiah Mustafa, a.k.a. the shirtless “Look at your man, now back to me” star of the Old Spice commercials. Dapper in a suit from John Varvatos, Mustafa raved about the ceremony: “It’s my first time hosting and I think we should do more award shows like this to honor those behind the scenes.”

Doing a cameo in Horrible Bosses also proved that being in front of the camera was just as challenging for Mustafa, “It was feverish working with Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis, I really had to work to keep up with them!”

And even though the days can stretch upward to 12+ hours long, nothing but kind words filled the air about director JJ Abrams. Super 8  editors Maryann Brandon and Mary Jo Markey both agreed, “We would put JJ and Steven Spielberg in the war room! When you work with them, there is a great amount of trust and communication which makes for a really fun time on the job and gives you creative freedom.”

Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant, wearing Christian Dior, proved that working behind the scenes is all about the details. “Costumes and clothing tell the story about the character and reflect the changes they go through,” she said.

Bryant, whose fashion inspirations include Kate Moss and Scarlett O’Hara, also had her own tip on what every woman needs for her closet: “Great shapewear!”

But try as Betty might, we couldn’t get her to dish on the upcoming season of Mad Men- Bryant’s lips were sealed. Not even a brief appearance from Jon Hamm on the red carpet would reveal any sneak peeks! But it did confirm that in real life, the Hamm is just as hot as he is onscreen. No behind the scenes work needed there!
