“The Hardest Part Is Losing Friends:” 10 Women Veterans Share Their Stories

In honor of Veteran’s Day, we’d like to introduce you to ten totally amazing and inspiring women.

We’ve all heard about the women who fearlessly fight – and sometimes die – to keep complete strangers safe. But their personal stories are often left untold; we know little about these women’s hopes and dreams, their struggles and fears. Though we can never repay these heroines for their immense sacrifice, we can honor their work this Veteran’s Day by sharing little glimpses into their lives of service.

Ladies, meet a few of the amazing women who have worked, and still work, so hard for this country.
