The Weekend Everyone Got Married
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, Carrie Underwood, Martin Lawrence and Carmelo Anthony tied the knot this weekend – did you?

This weekend was apparently the weekend for celebrities to get married. Did you have a wedding (or three) to attend?
You’ve already heard that Carrie Underwood and Canadian hockey player Mike Fisher were also planning to tie the knot this weekend. Well, the event went off without a hitch (or with one?), and Carrie married Mike in a Monique Lhuillier gown. The happy couple had this to say in a statement about their lavish wedding:
“We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!”
Aww, that’s sweet. Congrats, Mr. & Mrs. Fisher!
Who else got married? Martin Lawrence! The actor married his longtime girlfriend, Shamicka Gibbs, at his Beverly Hills home this weekend. The couple has two daughters, Amara, 9 and Iyana, 7, who served as flower girls, along with Lawrence’s daughter Jasmine, 14. Lawrence’s pals Denzel Washington and Eddie Murphy came out to celebrate, but according to a source, “this wedding was all about family.” Here’s to Martin and Shamicka!
Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony wed actress and former MTV VJ LaLa Vazquez in New York City this weekend. The wedding was a star-studded event: Justin Timberlake, LeBron James, Kim Kardashian, Spike Lee, Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were some of the biggest celebs in attendance. Later that night, Vazquez, who wore a Vera Wang gown Tweeted, “Best night of my entire life.” Glad to hear it, LaLa – raise a glass to the happy couple!
Last but certainly not least, John Krasinski and Emily Blunt got married in a private ceremony over the weekend (translation: they kept the whole thing under wraps). However, we do know that Emily wore Marchesa and a three-carat diamond wedding ring. Emily and John, we want pictures – oh yeah, and congratulations!
