Video: Ouidad’s Morgan Willhite Shows You How to Add Volume + Lift to Your Locks
Curly girls, listen up! Ouidad’s Creative Director Morgan Willhite gives you step-by-step instruction on how to add luscious volume to your ‘do!
You’d think that the last thing a curly girl would worry about is volume. After all, they’ve got masses of curls. Sadly, there are times when curls just won’t cooperate. You want to have all-over volume and lift on top. Otherwise, you look kinda off-balanced. You can’t stick them in a corner for a time out, doesn’t work. What can you do?
You can check out Ouidad’s Morgan Willhite tips on how to get them to behave and look gorg! “Curly girls must always remember that how hair looks, when it’s dry, depends on how it appears when wet,” says Willhite. The trick to get your hair looking fab is to use duckbill clips.
The below video gives you all the steps you need to rock it out any day of the week.
Open clip no more than a half inch to inch wide and hold clip on its side (not flat) and gently slide clip along scalp and keep it as close to root as possible.
Position clip to lift the hair evenly across the crown, working from front to back.
Dry hair with a diffuser or allow to air dry.
