Video: Richard Simmons Gives New Meaning to Airline Safety
Need something to get you over Monday? Check out this video with star cameos.
Flying these days isn’t fun. How many times have you tuned out during the safety demonstration that the flight attendants stewards give you? Snore, snore, snore, right?
Well, Richard Simmons, the fitness guru decided to change it up with hilarious results. Simmons teamed up with Air New Zealand for a disco-fied, fun “workout” video. He’s assisted by an actual Air New Zealand air crew and Les Mills fitness instructors.
The Fit to Fly video has celebrity cameos: Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan (sporting a bright yellow headband), television personality Paul Henry (look for orange shorts and a pink sweat band) and Silver Fern Temepara George (wearing silver hot pants). Air New Zealand’s CEO Rob Fyfe is also in this send up to 80’s workout videos, he’s wearing pink shorts and a purple head band.
