We Had a Feeling These Songs Were About Other Celebs
From Amy Winehouse to Peter Gabriel, it seems like everyone has a song about someone else.
Musicians are humans, too (right?), so it’s only natural that they develop feelings for one another from time to time. Whether it’s a strong love or hate, those feelings are bound to make it into one of their songs – the fun part for us is figuring out who those lyrics are about.
For instance, did you know that Amy Winehouse is supposedly singing about her love for rapper Nas in her song “Me and Mr. Jones”?
Or, that Madonna’s tune “Miles Away” is about her ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and is dedicated to all others who are “emotionally retarded”? Those are Madge’s words, not ours.
