Wear Your Truth
Feel your feelings fashion frenzy

Wearing your truth on your sleeve, around your neck or across your belly is the new fashion frenzy. From celebs like Jessica Alba and Drew Barrymore to Jennifer Aniston and Hilary Duff to the moms at the local coffee shop and yoga studio, the hottest fashion these days seems to be the messages of harmony and good karma created by Sir Alistair Rai, the designer best known for jewel-toned Buddhist prayer wraps with words such as “karma,” “love” and “truth” embroidered on them.
Lately, this collection of timeless messages of peace and passive resistance are popping up at boutiques from L.A. to Chicago. And store owners say they can’t keep the collection, especially the scarves, in stock. The messages are said to be global reminders of our collective search for meaning in our lives, bringing ancient teachings into today’s world. The cotton scarves, hand-painted by Indian artisans, retail from about $50 to $160. Seems like beauty, truth and love never go out of style.
