Let’s be honest here. Susan Boyle is never going to be a supermodel. But I have to admit that she does look pretty damn good in the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

I can hear you snorting, “Yeah, I’d look good too after a hair and makeup team fussed over me for hours.” And while that’s true, the magazine’s photo shoot with the Hairy Angel gives us some valuable lessons in how to make the most of what we have (and how to disguise some of our flaws, too).

Confession: I used to work for Harper’s Bazaar, so I have seen how the magazine can take models who looked as plain as dirt when they visited our offices and magically transform them into dazzling butterflies.

  1. I think she looks great and everything, but was a make over necessary. Susan Boyle was a talented woman in the worlds spotlight, what’s this gonna teach kids: you must look good?

  2. Why are we so obsessed with making her look thin? She looks good and we should be celebrating her talent, not making fun of her for not looking like a supermodel

  3. Susan looks wonderful. She always dreamed of being a famous singer – her dream has come true. Thank you Harper’s Bazaar for enhancing her beauty inside and out!
