Did you know that Entourage actor Adrian Grenier is super eco-friendly? Neither did we; but it turns out that not only is he big on sustainability, but moreover, he’s about to launch his very own label of sustainable wine.

Adrian, you see, runs an eco-website called Shft.com with film producer Peter Glatzer. The site aims to “curate the culture of today’s environment” through original environmentally-conscious editorial content; it also, however, sells sustainably designed products like this Nest Learning Thermostat that reduces energy consumption:

And now, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the site is about to selling its own wine under the label Shft House Wines. At the Napa Valley Film Festival’s Buick Tweet House over the weekend, Adrian said, “We decided that we were doing to create a sustainable wine because we are all about connecting and lifestyle and what better way to connect and communicate ideas about sustainability than around a nice dinner with a great bottle of wine?” Hear, hear! The wine, called Stomping Ground, is a blend, and it’s sourced from organic, buidynamic, and sustainable vineyards out of Paso Robles, California. Even the bottles are eco-friendly: The ink used on the labels is non-toxic, and the bottles themselves are re-used, washed, and recycled.

Adrian also Tweeted a first-look pic of a bottle of Stomping Ground over the weekend:

We can’t quite tell whether it’s white or red, but it’s certainly a snazzy-looking bottle! You’ll be able to preorder it on Shft.com starting next week; it will become fully available in December.

Tell us: Would you drink Adrian Grenier’s sustainable wine?
